Monica Rizzio - has enjoyed a richly diverse musical career as both a performer and teacher. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Monica has maintained a private teaching studio for the past five years teaching voice, violin, piano ukulele, flute, guitar and music theory. She is certified in the O’Connor Violin Method which teaches students the development of learning by ear. Monica holds a violin ensemble class the first Friday of every month and also holds a fiddle workshop once a month focusing on learning tunes by ear and focusing on the percussive fiddle chop. She currently performs and tours with the pop-folk group Tripping Lily and presently maintains an active performance calendar, singing in various venues both locally and nationally.
Clayton March - a freelance musician, is a fiddler, mandolinist, and classically trained clarinetist. He is a founding member of the Irish traditional group The Forest Beach Ceili. The past president of the Cape Cod Celtic Society, he leads Irish sessions and Irish music learners groups and teaches private and group instrumental music lessons. Clayton holds a bachelor’s of music from The New England Conservatory of Music. Before moving to Cape Cod, Clayton lived in Japan for 8 years working at a language services company as a teacher trainer and personnel manager.
Demetrius Becrelis - is a diverse musician in styles that range from pop and rock, to classical, jazz, celtic and bluegrass. He has maintained a private teaching studio for the past eight years. Before moving back to Cape Cod, Demetrius was involved in the Nashville music scene as a singer songwriter, recording artist, producer and session player. His song “Alone” was featured on Showtime’s series “The Big C.” Demetrius teaches ukulele, guitar, voice, song-writing, piano and artist development. Currently he is realizing his dream of starting Cape Cod's first ukulele ensemble and feels it is never too late or early to pick up an instrument. He currently performs and tours with the pop-folk group Tripping Lily.
Alex Becrelis - has been playing mandolin, guitar, piano, writing songs and singing for over 20 years. Alex brings a unique perspective to these instruments and has been a private instructor for several years teaching instrumentalist of all backgrounds and ages. Alex is also a member of the pop-folk group Tripping Lily.
Catie Flynn -Catie Flynn is a singer songwriter born and raised on Cape Cod. She holds a Bachelor's of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston where she studied vocal performance and music business. Upon graduating from Berklee Catie lived in Nashville, Tennessee where she refined her songwriting skills and toured with her former group “The Fireman’s Daughter.” Now back on the Cape, Catie can be seen playing locally and around the northeast region. Aside from teaching and performing Catie also works at a nursing home spreading her love of music with Alzheimer's patients.
Jacqueline Schwab - a folk and classical improvisational pianist who plays “gorgeously spare piano” (The Boston Globe) yet “sounds as if she has an orchestra at her fingertips” (Sing Out). Chosen by the renowned Ken Burns for numerous public television documentaries due to the emotional expression in her playing, Jacqueline has performed on the soundtracks for the Grammy award- winning Civil War, the Emmy award-winning Baseball and Mark Twain, among others. She has performed at the White House for President Clinton in 1997 to celebrate Burns’ Lewis and Clark series and also at the Smithsonian in 2000 celebrate its exhibition on the Presidency.
