Clayton March leads a dual musical life as a clarinetist and an Irish fiddler.  After graduating from New England Conservatory Clayton began to explore beyond classical music and realized his love of the clarinet music from Eastern Europe and the Fiddle tunes of Ireland.  On clarinet he performs with the highly energetic and sometimes zany Polka Dan’s Beet Box Band.  He has recorded with Polka Dan as well as with The Bart Weisman Klezmer Swing Group.  In 2012 Clayton recorded In Klezmer with Pianist Jacqueline Schwab.

As a fiddler Clayton leads Irish sessions across the region and is a sought after teacher.  He is a founder of West Bend Music in Dennis Port where he maintains a large teaching studio.
